Director's Message

It's concert month! The students are working hard on concert music and solos, thank you for supporting them in their efforts. If you haven't seen your child get their instrument out at home in a while, encourage them to bring it home to practice. Ask them to play the solo they're working on for you! Every LQIM member has one, and they will either perform it at our spring concert, or in class that week.

Don't forget to have your child's concert black ready to go before the concert. If you need a reminder of appropriate concert black, please see below.

[Tuesday, Oct 3 at 7:28 AM]
Schedule has been updated for this week.

I still need a chaperone for Friday, and a chaperone for Saturday. If we do not get an additional chaperone for each day we will have to take one bus to the football game and competition.

Director's Message

It is with a heavy heart that I share that at this point the program does not have the funding to continue to employ our coaches or attend competitions for the fall season. If we are able to garner more funding through donations and fundraisers we will bring staff back as we are able to. At the current moment we would need to bring in around $12,000 to pay all of the coaches for September and October. I've attached the approved budget again for you to look at, and the board and I are meeting this week to go over the actuals and see what changes need to be made.

We will continue to attend football games as a pep band because that is at no cost to the program.

If you have any questions about donations or fundraising ideas please reach out to any of our board members:

Please see this week's schedule below to see the change in rehearsal days and times.
